Job description

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years verifiable experience in deep drainage pipe laying.

• Demonstrable experience working at depths of 6–8 meters, including trench support systems (e.g., trench boxes, shoring).

Certification Requirements:

• CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker or higher):

• Ideally with Drainage (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3) qualification.

• Confined Space Entry Certification:

• Medium or High Risk confined space training required (in accordance with Water UK or C&G 6150-03/6151-03 standards).

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Familiarity with deep excavation hazards, trench collapse risk, water ingress, gas monitoring.

• Awareness and use of temporary works systems and Permit to Work procedures.

• Current Manual Handling, CAT & Genny, and First Aid training preferred.
