A regional water services provider is looking for a Groundwater Technician in Norfolk. You will support the operability of groundwater assets and assist in maintenance tasks for borehole pumps, contributing to water supply for millions. Salary- Circa £33,500 depending on experience, plus business use van

Location: Old Buckenham, Attleborough. Must live within 45 minutes, due to stand-by.
Will be required to travel to other Anglian Water sites as and when requested. All travel time within working hours.

Essential to us meeting and exceeding these targets to deliver consistent customer satisfaction are our Groundwater Engineering Unit who are looking for a Groundwater Technician to join the team in the Norfolk region.
What will you be doing?
Working across our region, including Hartlepool, you’ll help ensure full operability of groundwater assets to maintain the upstream security of supply and contribute to the delivery of measured targets. You’ll be part of a team that manages our borehole and pump assets that successfully supply 50% of raw water to meet the demand of 4 million customers.
Reporting to the Groundwater Engineering Unit Manager, you’ll be working in our team to undertake a variety of maintenance work on our groundwater assets and provide support on a host of day-to-day operations including borehole pump replacements and maintenance and groundwater asset surveys and inspections.
Training will be provided for any aspects not covered by previous work experience.
This role will require you to be part of a standby rota, so you’ll need to be motivated, have a strong team work ethic and have the capability to work flexibly as at times you will need to stay overnight at times due to the large geographical areas we cover.
