Job Summary: Maintenance Technicians perform maintenance, repair, groundskeeping, and other interior and exterior duties under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Show respect for residents and staff, providing excellent customer service
  • Perform routine community maintenance such as painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, filter replacement, trash compactor work, etc.
  • Maintain community equipment including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
  • Respond promptly to repair requests and maintenance concerns
  • Report malfunctions and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authority before entering apartments
  • Ensure safety of maintenance items and work areas
  • Attend training sessions as assigned
  • Work with vendors for landscaping, painting, and asphalt work
  • Follow all safety/OSHA requirements
Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • Availability for days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly
  • Minimum age 18, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years maintenance experience preferred
  • HVAC, EPA, or CPO certifications preferred but not required
Position Details:
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Sunday, with possible overtime and on-call duties
