Verdant Parks is seeking a Grounds & Site Maintenance Team Member for Thurston Manor to help keep outdoor spaces tidy, functional, and visually appealing for guests and owners.

The role is seasonal, involves varied outdoor tasks across gardens, facilities, and caravans, and requires practicality, reliability, and a willingness to learn. A valid driving licence is essential, and weekend work is included.

• Keeping walkways, fields, and facilities clean, litter-free
• Ensuring the park looks attractive, welcoming, and safe for guests and owners

Contract Type: Seasonal

Salary: £8.85 (ages 16-17) to £12.71 (age 18+) per hour

Hours: Variable hours. Includes working weekends and bank holidays.

Our Grounds & Site Maintenance team are the hands-on heroes of the park-keeping everything safe, tidy, and looking its best. From well-kept gardens and play areas to holiday homes, decking, and facilities, you'll make sure our guests enjoy a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive. Whether it's siting caravans, fixing decking, mowing lawns, or keeping paths clear, no two days are the same.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Maintaining all grounds, gardens, play areas, and public spaces to a high standard
• Repairing and landscaping pitches, including decking, patios, and paths
• Assisting with siting and de-siting caravans and lodges
• Safely operating and maintaining mowers, tools, and equipment

We're looking for someone practical, reliable, and ready to get stuck in. Experience in a similar maintenance or grounds role is ideal, but if you've got the right attitude and are quick to learn, we'll give you the support you need. Skills such as joinery, plumbing, or landscaping are a big advantage. You'll need to be organised, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in all weathers. A valid driving licence is essential.
