Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Team Leader Solihull

Hours: Annualised hours, 40 hours per week

Who are you?

  • Ideally qualified in horticulture with a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • A confident person with good people management skills.
  • Adaptable to different working techniques with a strong work ethic.
  • Experienced with a variety of small engine machinery.
  • Good IT knowledge.
  • Ideally hold a full, clean driving license.
  • PA1 & PA6 qualifications are desirable.
  • Awareness of relevant industry health & safety legislation.
  • Reliable, conscientious, and able to work on your own initiative.

A glimpse into the role:

  • Assist the Supervisor and Senior Team Leaders in delivering programmed maintenance effectively.
  • Take responsibility for on-site works, including timekeeping, productivity, managing breaks, and dealing with the public, visitors, and deliveries.
  • Lead by example, motivate and guide the team, and maintain workforce discipline.
  • Operate and oversee the operation of company and hire vehicles, machinery, and equipment, ensuring proper checks and routine servicing.
  • Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the Supervisor.
