Job summary

Manpower UK seeks a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader for a permanent role in Edinburgh, offering £14-£15 per hour. You will supervise a small crew and contribute to grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, shrub care, and litter collection, working Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:30.

A safety-conscious mindset and practical approach are essential, with training provided to support development. As Team Leader you’ll guide the crew on daily tasks, ensuring quality and safety across all grounds

Qualifications

• Prior grounds maintenance experience.
• Experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role within grounds maintenance or a related field (2 years preferred).
• Full UK driving licence is essential; PA1/PA6 licences are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small crew to perform grounds maintenance tasks in Edinburgh.
• Oversee grass cutting (ride-on and pedestrian), strimming, hedge trimming, shrub care and litter collection.
• Ensure tasks are completed to required standards with attention to safety and quality.
