Salary: £13.19 per hour plus OT

Location: Bristol

Job Summary

A well-established, award-winning grounds maintenance contractor based in Bristol is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join their growing team following the award of several new contracts. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate a high standard of workmanship and take pride in leading by example. Sharing your skills and knowledge with less experienced team members is key, so strong communication is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake grounds maintenance at various commercial sites including schools, business parks, industrial estates, and housing developments.
• Tasks include:
• Grass cutting and turf care
• Weed control
• Hedge trimming and maintenance
• Pruning and plant care
• Hard surface cleaning

Essential Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial grounds maintenance
• Proficient in the use of ride-on and pedestrian mowers (e.g., Scags), petrol hedge trimmers, and strimmers
• Basic machinery maintenance skills
• Valid PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication skills and self-motivated
• Comfortable using a mobile phone app (training provided)

Desirable (Training Can Be Provided)

• Basic plant knowledge
• CSCS card
