A leading green space management company seeks a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor in Leicester. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading staff or small teams.
You should possess good time management skills and be capable of working in a demanding environment.
Enthusiasm, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, open-minded, and friendly, understanding the importance of teamwork.
Good IT skills and a valid driving licence are required.
Experience in estimating work and delivering innovative customer solutions would be advantageous.
Assist the Contract Manager in managing programmed maintenance effectively.
Oversee the programme of works and delivery through the Glendale Live field management system.
Motivate and support delivery teams across a wide geographical area.
Monitor staff timekeeping, holidays, and sickness.
Lead by example, especially in QHSE requirements.
Maintain and enforce security of vehicles, plant, and equipment.
Ensure quality and customer care standards are upheld, maintaining workforce discipline.
Complete and manage daily checks sheets and operational systems to ensure smooth operations.
You will be provided with a company vehicle for contract visits across the region.
