We are recruiting on behalf of a large housing association for a role supervising the delivery of grounds maintenance, arboriculture, caretaking, and cleaning services across communal open spaces, playgrounds, and residential blocks. The role ensures services meet quality standards, safety regulations, and deliver customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day service delivery in line with service level agreements and planned works.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and environmental standards are maintained.
  • Split time between being on-site with teams and office-based admin and meetings.
  • Lead and support staff while managing performance of external contractors.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, resolve issues, and maintain satisfaction.
  • Conduct inspections, maintain records, and help with staff planning.

Experience & Skills:

  • Supervisory experience preferred but not essential—training will be provided.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards of work.
  • Strong communication and people skills for working with teams, suppliers, and residents.
  • Understanding of health & safety, environmental legislation, and waste disposal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Location:

Suitable candidates will ideally be based in the London region. The patch also extends into parts of Surrey and Sussex.
