Job summary

CBRE's Global Workplace Solutions division is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to support the BT Workplace team across seven thousand buildings in the UK. Responsibilities include grass cutting, hedge trimming and weed control to ensure sites are neat and compliant with contract specifications.

You will travel between sites, hold a valid UK driving licence, and follow health & safety standards to maintain safe, well-presented grounds.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (preferably with trailer towing).
• Willing to travel between sites daily.
• Ability to lone work and plan own schedule.
• Good communication and planning skills.
• Awareness of grounds maintenance standards and safety requirements.
• Lantra Awards and/or NPTC Industry Standard training recommended; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds to BT contract standards: grass cutting, edging, pruning of shrubs and trees.
• Clear weeds, moss and debris from fences, walls, paths and car parks.
• Ensure visibility of boundaries and road markings; manage KPI targets.
• Observe Health and Safety requirements and COSHH regulations.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles in good working order.
• Provide courteous, prompt service to clients and colleagues.
