About Our Client:

About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative or Team Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining various sites, including cemeteries and NHS properties. Your role will involve general grounds maintenance duties, ensuring that each site is kept to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, and planting.
• Maintain cemeteries and NHS sites to ensure they are presentable and safe.
• Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment.
• Lead a team of operatives (Team Leader role).
• Ensure all work is completed to the client's specifications.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

Essential:
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable:
• NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role (Team Leader role).
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
