Job Description

I am looking for a labourer/grounds maintenance operative to work on behalf of a local Somerset-based council. The role will include all aspects of labouring and grounds maintenance, such as:

1. Carrying out a varied range of gardening duties, requiring minimal supervision and the use of own initiative.
2. General grounds maintenance duties like grass cutting, using pedestrian and ride-on mowers.
3. Use of hand tools such as strimmers, hedge cutters, blowers, and other hand tools required for the job.
4. Marking football fields.
5. Repairs to fine turf and playing surfaces.
6. Litter picking and bin emptying.

You will receive:

• £14.10 per hour
• 3 months guaranteed work
