Job summary

Onward Homes is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Environmental team in Runcorn. The role involves delivering landscape maintenance across local sites with a mobile team, requiring a full UK driving licence and the ability to work without daily depot attendance.

You will contribute to high-quality environments, carrying out grass cutting, pruning, weed control and litter removal, while following safety procedures and maintaining equipment. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full Manual UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in grounds maintenance or environmental services is desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out grass cutting, shrub pruning, weed control and litter removal.
• Record keeping and adherence to safety procedures.
• Routine maintenance checks of plant, equipment and machinery.
