Grounds Maintenance Operative

Shift Times: 07:30-16:00 Monday - Friday (42.5 HPW)

Pay Rate: £12.21ph

Location: HP19 8RS - Aylesbury

This is a temporary position until September for the summer season.

Manpower are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based out of Aylesbury. Working in this role, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality grounds maintenance service to a range of clients throughout the local area. Working within a team, you will perform activities such as grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, among others. Ensuring a safe working environment and carrying out daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment are essential.

The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.

To succeed, you will need:

1. To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
2. Hold a full valid UK Driving License.
3. Willingness to learn & be open to training.
4. A safety-conscious mindset.
5. Capability to work safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g., strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers).
6. Experience in working in a busy team and providing high-quality service.
7. Experience in a similar Grounds Maintenance role is desirable.
