Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Preston to deliver grounds maintenance, landscaping and environmental services across the northwest. You will join a small, supportive team and work to high standards of quality, safety and customer care.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, 40 hours, based in Preston. You will carry out grass cutting, shrub pruning, weed control and various landscaping tasks, using powered tools.

Qualifications

• Carrying out grass cutting, shrub pruning and weed control as part of landscaping tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication to support the maintenance team.
• Must be able to use and maintain range of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Job description

Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Preston to work on various Your Housing Group sites across the northwest. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, working as part of a small and supportive team, you will use your previous experience to deliver grounds maintenance, landscaping and environmental services to Your Housing Group's customers, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and customer care at all times. We are looking for a passionate and experienced grounds maintenance operative who can carry out a high standard of work. What will my working week look like? Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Starting and finishing work in Preston. What will I be responsible for doing?,

• Carryout grass cutting, shrub pruning,weed control and various landscaping ad hoc works.
  Be a strong team player with solid communication skills.
• Be trained and competent to use and maintaina range of associated powered landscaping tool and equipment.
• Be able to demonstrate using your initiative.
• Hold a full valid UK driving licence.
