A Horticultural Grounds Maintenance Operative role in Dorking is offered by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. The position is permanent, full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and an hourly rate of £12.71.

You will perform garden maintenance tasks and operate lawn and hedge equipment to keep outdoor spaces neat and safe. We value experience in grounds maintenance, a valid UK driving licence, and a can-do, safety-conscious attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous Horticulture/Grounds Maintenance experience is required.
• A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
• PA1 and PA6 licenses are preferred.
• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform horticultural duties including bed maintenance, weeding, and pruning.
• Operate strimming, hedge cutting, and mowing equipment.
• Conduct bin cleansing, litter picking and sweeping as required.
• Adhere to safety rules and work outdoors in all weather.

Location: Dorking

Hourly Rate: £12.71 p/h

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30-16:00

About the role

We currently require a Horticultural Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Dorking. The role requires you to work horticultural duties such as flower bed maintenance, weeding and pruning along with strimming, hedge cutting, mowing, bin cleansing, litter picking and sweeping.
