Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic new addition to our current grounds maintenance team. Experience in a similar sector is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.

Day in the Life

A 'DAY IN THE LIFE' of a CTC GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

You will be asked to do things like:

• Strim the grass or cut the hedges at our cemetery
• Prepare plots for new tenants at an allotment site
• Drive across town to place agendas in our agenda boards
• Put up posters in our poster boards
• Wash a council vehicle
• Line-mark a football pitch
• Empty bins
• Check and maintain play equipment at one of our parks
• Do some minor maintenance or repair work to one of our buildings
• Plant up our flower beds across the town
• Meet a family and help with an interment of cremated remains at our cemetery
• Raise flags on our flagpoles to celebrate or mark special occasions
