Grounds Maintenance Operative

Your new company
You will be working for Bournemouth University at their sports grounds in Chapel Gate.

Your new role
We are looking for an experienced grounds person to join the team at the 65-acre Chapel Gate site. The site offers both grass and synthetic based sports surfaces for our students and the wider community.

Tasks will vary from day to day, but will always be focused on the maintenance of sports pitches, sport equipment, and the essential machinery required for the role.

We are looking for someone that is hard-working, and keen to excel in both a team environment and when working by yourself.

Hours are 7.30am to 3pm Monday to Thursday with a 2.30pm finish on Friday.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced grounds maintenance operative with experience of grass cutting, managing shrubbery, trees, and using machinery.

You will need to be able to get to Chapel Gate near Hurn Airport, so a car driver/motorbike/bicycle is required.

What you'll get in return

£12.91 per hour payee + Holiday pay - 2 month initial contract.
