Job description

As part of our commitment to provide an outstanding customer experience at Snetterton Race Circuit, we wish to further enhance our facilities and maintenance team with an enthusiastic and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Assistant to start work ASAP on a permanent full-time basis around the grounds of Snetterton.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has high attention to detail.

Main duties:

1. Assist in the upkeep of the venue's grounds and facilities, ensuring all areas are maintained to the standard required.
2. Perform general grass care, including mowing, edging, and fertilising lawns.
3. Manage weed growth throughout the venue, using equipment to remove and prevent weeds.
4. Assist the Maintenance team with tasks such as minor repairs, cleaning, general maintenance, and emptying bins.
5. Maintain venue presentation to the highest standard, including litter picking, as directed by the Maintenance Foreman.
6. Operate machinery and equipment (e.g., grass cutters, strimmers, blowers) safely, seeking instruction if unsure.
7. Comply with COSHH regulations, Noise at Work Regulations, and MSV Safety, Health & Environmental policies at all times.
8. Assist with on-track maintenance as needed.

The ideal candidate will love the outdoors, take pride in their work, and ideally have previous grounds maintenance experience. A passion for motorsport is a plus, given the venue hosts major UK race series.

The role requires flexible working hours during a 42.5-hour week, including some evenings and weekends. A full UK driving licence is essential due to the location.
