Job summary

Berkeley Scott is seeking a Groundskeeper to support schools across London. The role offers an hourly rate from £14.80 and flexible hours, with weekend off unless overtime is arranged.

You will maintain outdoor grounds, operate lawn mowing equipment, and ensure high cleanliness standards in Education and Healthcare settings. Requirements include Enhanced DBS (Child workforce), right to work in the UK, two references, COSHH and Manual Handling training, and a minimum of one year in a similar

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child workforce) required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two employment references.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in similar environment as a Cleaner.
• Health and Safety Certificates (COSHH and Manual Handling).
• Excellent time keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Helping maintain and improve outdoor grounds and landscaped areas
• Operating lawn mowing equipment to keep grass neat and well presented
• Sweeping and clearing pathways, patios, and communal spaces
• Assisting with general grounds maintenance and outdoor upkeep
• A hands on individual who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• A positive attitude and pride in maintaining high standards

We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual who can adapt to any working environment supporting teams in their time of need. Flexible working hours. The hourly rate starts from £14.80 per hour

To work for us in one of our Schools you will need:

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child workforce)
• RTW in UK
• 2x Employment References
• 1-year minimum work experience in similar environment as a Cleaner
• Health and Safety Certificates (including COSHH and Manual Handling)
• Excellent time keeping skills
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
