Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting a Grounds Keeper for temporary assignments across Wimbledon and wider London, mainly in education and healthcare settings. The role involves outdoor grounds upkeep, keeping areas clean, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The position offers flexible hours and an hourly rate starting from £14.80. Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS for the child workforce, have the right to work in the UK, provide two employment references, and show at least one year

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child workforce) is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Two employment references are required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a similar environment (groundskeeping/cleaning) is needed.
• Health and Safety certificates (including COSHH and Manual Handling) are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve outdoor grounds and landscaped areas.
• Operate lawn mowing equipment to keep grass neat and well presented.
• Sweep and clear pathways, patios, and communal spaces.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance and outdoor upkeep.
• Be hands-on and able to work independently or in a team.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and pride in maintaining high standards.
