A prestigious educational institution in Winchester is seeking an apprentice for the Grounds and Gardens program. The role involves assisting in the maintenance and development of extensive grounds and gardens while receiving hands-on training in horticulture and estate maintenance. The apprentice will work Monday to Friday with occasional weekends or evenings for events, over a duration of 27 months.
The Grounds and Gardens apprentice will assist in the care, maintenance and development of the college’s extensive grounds, sports facilities, gardens and landscapes. The role provides hands-on training in horticulture, groundskeeping and estate maintenance alongside formal study towards an industry recognised qualification.

Apprenticeship Level: Intermediate
Working Week: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm with an hour's unpaid lunch. This will include occasional weekend work on a rota-based system as well as additional evening hours to cover sporting fixtures, college events and additional workloads, as required.
