Location: Hutton Roof

We are looking for a Grounds and Hot Tub Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Thanet Well Lodge Retreat in Penrith, Cumbria. Competitive hourly rate of pay.

This is a permanent position to work full-time hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

• Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep of buildings and guest accommodation.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests.
• Assist with renovation projects and daily maintenance tasks.
• Complete paperwork following repairs and maintenance.
• Help clean and maintain hot tubs during changeovers.
• Support the grounds team to maintain the retreat's five-star appearance.
• Assist with grass cutting, strimming, edging, weeding, and pathway clearing.
• Keep the retreat free of debris.

Requirements

Previous experience in maintenance or groundskeeping is advantageous. A positive work ethic and willingness to learn are desirable. A driving license and ability to drive are essential due to the use of site vehicles.
