Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is hiring a Service Technician – Groundcare Machinery in Takeley, Essex. You will service and repair groundcare equipment, diagnose faults and carry out preventative maintenance in both workshop and customer-site settings. The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently while supporting the wider workshop and field team. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing groundcare machinery.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining groundcare machinery and equipment.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Working on machinery in workshop and at customer sites.
• Inspecting machinery to ensure safety and readiness for use.
