Job summary

Groundscare Machinery is seeking a skilled service technician to service, repair and maintain professional groundscare equipment in the Huntingdon area. You will work both in the workshop and on customer sites.

You'll diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, use manufacturer diagnostic tools, complete service reports and join a team focused on safety and high workmanship standards. A training programme will develop your technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing machinery or mechanical equipment.
• Strong mechanical background with fault-finding skills.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems; understands electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair groundscare machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults and carry out repairs.
• Prepare new and used machinery for delivery.
• Attend customer sites to investigate breakdowns and perform repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer information to resolve faults.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records.
• Work with the service team to ensure repairs are completed safely and to a high standard.
