Job summary

Blue Inn Recruitment seeks an Experienced Groundworker for a Bristol-based role. The candidate will handle kerbing, paving, landscaping and drainage across site works, with an emphasis on quality and safety. Immediate start available for a 6-month temporary contract.

The position requires proven hands-on groundworks experience, a valid CSCS card, and the ability to work independently or in a team on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven, practical experience in groundworks, kerbing, block paving, paving, slabbing, landscaping and drainage.
• Strong hands‑on skills across all aspects of groundworker duties.
• Valid, up-to-date CSCS card and other relevant cards, tickets and certifications.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Available for an immediate start and able to commit to the full 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out hands‑on groundworks, including kerbing, block paving, paving, slabbing and landscaping.
• Installing kerbs, laying block paving and paving slabs to a high standard.
• Undertaking drainage installation, pipe laying, manhole construction and associated drainage works.
• Preparing ground, excavation, levelling, grading and reinstatement works.
• Carrying out landscaping, edging, concreting and general external works.
• Using hand tools and relevant equipment safely and effectively.
• Working from site drawings and following health and safety procedures.

Job Title: Experienced Groundworker - Kerbing, Paving, Landscaping & Drainage

Location: Bristol (BS3)

Contract: 6-month temporary role

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM

Start Date: Immediate
