Job summary

Blue Inn Recruitment is seeking an experienced Groundworker for a 6-month temporary role in Bristol (BS3). The position covers kerbing, block paving, paving, slabbing, landscaping and drainage with immediate start and site safety required.

The candidate should have proven hands-on groundworks skills, a valid CSCS card and be able to work independently or as part of a team on site from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in kerbing, block paving, paving, slabbing, landscaping and drainage.
• Strong practical groundworks skills across all duties.
• CSCS card and related certifications required.

Job Title: Experienced Groundworker Kerbing, Paving, Landscaping & Drainage

Location: Bristol (BS3)
Contract: 6-month temporary role
Working Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced Groundworker with strong, hands‑on experience in all aspects of groundworks, including kerbing, block paving, paving, slabbing, landscaping, drainage and associated groundwork duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out hands‑on groundworks, including kerbing, block paving, paving, slabbing and landscaping.
• Installing kerbs, laying block paving and paving slabs to a high standard.
• Undertaking drainage installation, pipe laying, manhole construction and associated drainage works.
• Preparing ground, excavation, levelling, grading and reinstatement works.
• Carrying out landscaping, edging, concreting and general external works.
• Using hand tools and relevant equipment safely and effectively.
• Working from site drawings and following health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven, practical experience in groundworks, kerbing, block paving, paving, slabbing, landscaping and drainage.
• Strong hands‑on skills across all aspects of groundworker duties.
• Valid, up‑to‑date CSCS card and other relevant cards, tickets and certifications.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Available for an immediate start and able to commit to the full 6‑month contract.
