Job Description

Reporting to the SE Capability Lead and their assigned manager, the SE Engineer role involves delivering assigned SE tasks, prioritizing work, delivering outputs, and monitoring outcomes. Tasks will support aircraft programmes and include common and type-specific Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Support and Test Equipment (S&TE), and tooling. Initially, the role will cover various air systems and management chains, with potential future specialization.

The role requires strong technical and communication skills, the ability to interpret and sequence tasks, adhere to standards, and maintain schedules. The candidate must exercise independent engineering judgment, analyze technical information, and understand safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, relating SE to supported air systems.

Experience:

  • Experience managing resources (material, financial, etc.).
  • Authorizing and managing GSE, S&TE, and tooling in aerospace, as a specialist or end-user.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
  • Level 3 qualification in STEM or equivalent experience.
  • Professional registration as an Engineering Technician or working towards it.
  • Proven commitment to quality in engineering outputs.

This is an on-site role with flexible hours. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the UK. The position does not offer relocation assistance or sponsorship. Security clearance to obtain a UK Security Check is required. No visa sponsorship is available.
