Ground Segment Software Test and Commissioning Engineer - You will collaborate with other teams in testing, commissioning, and integrating control room software with Ground Segment and Launch Vehicle systems. This is an exciting role in a fast-paced environment, with training provided, offering a unique opportunity to contribute directly to launch operations for Orbex Prime.
While training will be provided, it is expected that you have a strong technical foundation in commissioning complex software systems, including controls and automation, Linux, networking infrastructure, communication protocols (UDP/TCP), and command line coding. The role involves prolonged periods working at our spaceport on the Shetland Isles. The role is initially based in Forres, with subsequent travel to Unst (Saxa Vord Spaceport) and prolonged stays on Shetland. Security clearance (CTC) is required, and candidates must be UK or European citizens or from countries signatory to the MTCR convention.
