Job summary

GMV, an experienced technology group and leader in satellite control centers, seeks a project engineer to set up ground segment systems for UK clients. You will deploy, integrate, test and maintain control centre software, while preparing technical documentation and delivering high-quality results.

Hybrid work model and 8 weeks of teleworking per year are offered, plus career development, language training, and health/dental/LIFE insurance. UK national candidates with SC clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• System engineer with telecommunications/software/aeronautics background, interested in Space or critical systems.
• Interest in Space sector and willingness to learn mission-critical specifics.
• Basic programming knowledge to support scripting/config tasks.
• Good communication skills and attention to operational detail.
• Analytical mind and ability to understand end-to-end subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, test, and maintain GMV ground segment software and control centre products.
• Prepare technical documentation and project deliverables for customers.
• Support system verification and validation activities.
• Coordinate software installations and upgrades at GMV facilities and client sites.
