Job Description:

We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance / Garden Maintenance Team Leader for one of the UK's largest Horticulture and Grounds Maintenance specialists.

The role involves supervising a small team of operatives performing tasks such as grass/lawn cutting, edging, strimming, hedge cutting, litter picking, weed control, and other gardening/grounds maintenance duties. You will use mowers and powered tools and also carry out these duties yourself.

You need to be based in the Bedfordshire or Northamptonshire area.

Candidates should have extensive experience with gardening equipment such as hedge cutters and lawn mowers, and ideally have previous experience in a team leader gardening role.

This is a permanent position following a successful probation period of 13-15 weeks.

The pay rate is £14.57 per hour.

You will be working in a mobile team of two or three workers.

The working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
