A leading infrastructure consultancy is seeking an experienced GI Project Manager to join their Basingstoke office. You'll manage a range of ground investigation projects across sectors including rail, highways, nuclear, and energy, supporting delivery from award through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ground investigation projects (£1M+) from start to finish
  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and technicians
  • Maintain project finances and client relationships
  • Ensure HSE compliance and high-quality project delivery
  • Support business development and prepare technical proposals

Requirements:

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering or similar
  • 5-8+ years' relevant experience, with at least 1 year in project management
  • Strong knowledge of GI techniques, standards, and reporting
  • CSCS (Manager), SMSTS or similar, and full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Financial forecasting experience
  • Professional body membership / working towards chartership
