The role

As a Ground Handling Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of operations supporting the A330-200 Voyager aircraft. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your work ensures the safe arrival and departure of aircraft that play a vital role in national defence. You’ll be part of a close-knit team driving innovation and transformation across our aviation business, contributing to a mission that truly matters.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Performing aircraft see-in and see-off duties
  • Marshalling aircraft safely on the ground
  • Operating and maintaining de-icing equipment and fluids
  • Driving and positioning vehicles and equipment to support aircraft movements
  • Conducting aircraft toilet and water servicing, including sterilisation and refilling

This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite at RAF Brize Norton. The shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off alternating day and night shifts. Day shift: 06:30 – 18:30 and Night shift: 18:30 – 06:30

Qualifications
  • Basic driving licence

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
