Whitbread is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member for Southampton West Quay Premier Inn. You will greet guests, assist with check-in, serve meals, and help guests enjoy a smooth stay. The role offers 10 guaranteed hours per week and a fixed-term contract through 25 February 2027.
No hotel experience is required; friendly, helpful people succeed here. Training and supportive team environment are provided.
We're currently recruiting in our Southampton West Quay Premier Inn. Working 10 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.
As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.
No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.
Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
Contract: Fixed-term contract until 25/02/2027 – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.
Hours: 10 guaranteed hours per week.
Location: Southampton West Quay Premier Inn - West Quay, 96 Harbour Parade, Southampton, Southampton, SO15 1BA
Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.
As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.
This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.
Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
You’ll be joining a team that supports each other from day one.
We’ll give you the training to feel confident in every part of the role, whether you’re checking in guests, serving breakfast or helping someone who’s had a long day and just wants to get settled.
As you build your experience, you’ll have opportunities to learn new skills and explore different roles across Premier Inn.
