Job summary

Premier Inn Jersey is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member at Jersey St Helier (Charing Cross). You’ll be the first and last friendly face guests meet, helping with check-ins, breakfasts and guest questions in a busy hotel.

This permanent role guarantees 20 hours per week with shifts including evenings and weekends. No hotel experience required—friendly, proactive people will be taught the rest and supported with training and benefits.

Ground Floor Team Member – Jersey St Helier (Charing Cross) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £15.72 per hour

Contract:Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Jersey St Helier (Charing Cross) Premier Inn, Charing Cross, St Helier, JE2 3RP

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
