Premier Inn Paignton Seafront is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member for 24 hours a week at Paignton, Devon. You’ll welcome guests, check them in, serve breakfast or dinners behind the bar, and help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best.
We offer a permanent contract, full training and opportunities to grow your career within Whitbread. You don’t need hotel experience—friendly, calm and helpful people succeed here, with shift patterns covering evenings and weekends.
We're currently recruiting in our Paignton Seafront (Goodrington Sands) Premier Inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.
You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.
Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.
Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week.
Location: Tanners Road, Goodrington, Paignton, Devon, TQ4 6LN
Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.
This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.
Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
You’ll be joining a team that supports each other from day one.
We’ll give you the training to feel confident in every part of the role, whether you’re checking in guests, serving breakfast or helping someone who’s had a long day and just wants to get settled.
As you build your experience, you’ll have opportunities to learn new skills and explore different roles across Premier Inn.
We believe that everyone is unique and there should be no barriers to entry and no limits to ambition. We are committed to being an inclusive organisation that values diversity and welcomes your application whatever your background or situation.
Under-represented groups such as women, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities & members of the LGBTQIA+ community (those who identify as lesbian, gay, bi, trans and non-binary or those who use a different LGBTQIA+ term), are strongly encouraged to build a career with us. Speak to us about workplace adjustments, part-time and flexible working. Where possible we will support this.
