Whitbread PLC's Thurrock East Premier Inn is recruiting a Ground Floor Team Member. The role offers 15 guaranteed hours per week and pay up to £13.06 per hour, with a permanent contract and full training.

You'll welcome guests, check them in, serve breakfast or dinner, and support the team across reception, restaurant and public areas, including evenings and weekends.

We're currently recruiting in our Thurrock East Premier Inn. Working 15 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Thurrock East Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you'll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent - we don't do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 15 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Fleming Road Unicorn Estate, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Essex, RM16 6YJ

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

A conditional sale of the hotel has been agreed and this role may be in scope to TUPE transfer to a new employer

What You'll Do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

You Don't Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
