Whitbread’s Keswick Premier Inn is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member to warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in and provide friendly service across breakfast and dinner. You’ll help guests enjoy a smooth stay, answer questions, and keep public areas tidy and welcoming.

Shifts include evenings and weekends. This role is permanent with 24 guaranteed hours per week, with training provided. If you’re upbeat, reliable and ready to learn hospitality, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.

Ground Floor Team Member – Keswick Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Keswick Premier Inn, High Hill, Keswick, , CA12 5NY

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
