Whitbread Premier Inn in Southampton North is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member for 18 hours per week, at up to £13.06 per hour. You’ll welcome guests, assist with check-in, serve meals, and help keep all areas friendly and tidy. No prior hotel experience required and full training provided.
The role includes evenings and weekends, with a supportive team and the chance to learn new skills across the hotel as you grow in your career.
We're currently recruiting in our Southampton North Premier Inn. Working 18 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.
You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.
A conditional sale of the hotel has been agreed and this role may be in scope to TUPE transfer to Common Table Group.
Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (until 02/09/2027) – we don't do zero-hours contracts.
Hours: 18 guaranteed hours per week.
Location: Romsey Road, Nursling, Southampton, Hampshire, SO16 0XJ
Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.
As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.
This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You'll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.
Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
If you're friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it's busy, we'll teach you the rest.
You'll be joining a team that supports each other from day one.
We'll give you the training to feel confident in every part of the role, whether you're checking in guests, serving breakfast or helping someone who's had a long day and just wants to get settled.
As you build your experience, you'll have opportunities to learn new skills and explore different roles across Premier Inn.
…then we'd love to hear from you.
We believe that everyone is unique and there should be no barriers to entry and no limits to ambition. We are committed to being an inclusive organisation that values diversity and welcomes your application whatever your background or situation.
