Job summary

Premier Inn in Walsall Town Centre is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, help with check-in and assist with breakfast or dinner. Shifts include evenings, weekends and busy periods, with a fixed-term contract until 28 February 2027.

You’ll work across reception, restaurant and public areas, supporting the hotel team during busy times and ensuring guests are looked after from arrival to departure.

We're currently recruiting in our Walsall Town Centre Premier Inn. Working 18 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Walsall Town Centre Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed Term - until 28/2/2027

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
