A local equestrian center is seeking a groom for maternity cover starting in January 2026. Responsibilities include mucking out, turning out, feeding horses, and performing general yard tasks. Applicants must display excellent communication and customer service skills. This position offers a set schedule with possible overtime. Commitment to safeguarding children is paramount.
Groom required at Sidcot School Equestrian Centre and to start in January 2026 for a fixed term maternity cover ending no later than 31 December 2026.
Duties include mucking out, turning out, feeding horses, poo picking and all general yard tasks. As well as being able to perform general yard duties, candidates will need excellent communication and customer service skills.
Hours: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday: 08:30 - 17:30 with the possibility of overtime.
