Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves filled and the store ready for customers. The role includes daytime stocking on the floor, assisting shoppers, and overnight preparation for the next day. You will move products from backroom to sales floor, rotate inventory, and ensure displays stay clean and well stocked.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and flexibility for day/evening/overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves during daytime hours on the floor and assist customers with questions.
• Prepare the store for overnight deliveries and reset displays.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Keep aisles clean and organized, and maintain accurate pricing and labeling.

Another part of the role is maintaining organization behind the scenes. You'll move products from the backroom to the sales floor, rotate inventory, and keep aisles clear and easy to shop. Between handling freight, restocking shelves, and keeping work areas clean, the work stays steady making it a good fit for someone who enjoys physical tasks and a fast-paced environment.
