Job summary

Mitie Landscapes in Newport is seeking a Gritting only Operative on a fixed term contract to join our winter services team. Based in Newport, you will support grit operations across sites during the winter period, helping to keep routes safe and accessible.

You will grit various sites in your regional area, drive a company vehicle with a gritting hopper, load rock salt, and complete duties in a safe, timely manner. A passion for outdoor work and a full driving licence are essential.

Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Gritting only Operative to join our team at the UKs market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting Winter Services, carrying out gritting on various sites, throughout the Winter period ensuring you deliver the exceptional every day.

• Driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper
• Filling your van with rock salt to distribute
• Completing your duties in a safe and timely manner
