Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is seeking a Gritting only Operative to join our team across sites in the Swansea region. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will support Winter Services delivering gritting duties to keep roads safe during winter weather.

You will drive a company vehicle with a gritting hopper, load and distribute rock salt, and work outdoors in an agile, flexible environment. A full driving licence and comfort with smartphone tech are essential.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting Winter Services, carrying out gritting on various sites, throughout the Winter period ensuring you deliver the exceptional every day.

You will be responsible for

• Gritting various sites within your regional area
• Driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper
• Filling your van with rock salt to distribute
• Completing your duties in a safe and timely manner
