Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Gritting Operative to join Mitie Landscapes on the UK's market-leading facilities management team. You will support Winter Services, gritting on various sites across the region, and ensure daily operations meet safety and quality standards.

You will drive a company vehicle equipped with a gritting hopper, manage rock salt, and operate outdoors in winter conditions. A flexible, agile approach and good smartphone literacy are required, along with a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in outdoor winter maintenance or similar preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable and safety-conscious.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting Winter Services, carrying out gritting on various sites, throughout the Winter period ensuring you deliver the exceptional every day. You will be responsible for
