Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is seeking a Gritting Operative to join our winter services team in Huddersfield. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will carry out gritting on multiple sites across the region, ensuring safe and timely salting during the winter period.

You will drive a company vehicle with a gritting hopper, load salt at depots, and complete duties in line with health and safety standards. The role is full-time, fixed-term, with a zero-hour contract structure described in the posting.

Qualifications
