We’re on the lookout for experienced linishers/Grinders to join a busy and growing team based in Wolverhampton. If you’ve worked in the industry before and take pride in precision finishing, this could be your next role!

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
Day shifts only – 8:00am to 4:30pm
Temp to Perm – long-term opportunity
Competitive pay: £13.50 – £15 per hour (depending on experience)

The role-
As a linisher/Grinder, you will be responsible for the surface finishing of metal components using a variety of hand and machine tools. Your main duties will include:

• Operating linishing belts, grinders, and other tools to smooth and polish metal surfaces
• Preparing components to the required finish, removing weld marks, burrs, and imperfections
• Working to detailed specifications and quality standards
• Inspecting finished parts for consistency and defects
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

This role requires precision, patience, and a keen eye for detail

The Person –
Previous experience as a linisher or within a similar industrial/engineering environment
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliability and a strong work ethic
Must be able to travel to Wolverhampton
