Job summary

Loungers is hiring Chefs to join the kitchen team at Petalo Lounge. We’re part of Loungers, offering up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff food every shift and 50% off food & drinks from day one. You’ll work in a busy, supportive environment across our all-day menu, with room to grow within the brand.

As part of the kitchen team, you’ll ensure each dish hits spec, keep the kitchen running smoothly, and uphold high standards from prep to plate. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments is desirable.
• Ability to work well within a team and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec, from tapas to all-day lounge breakfasts.
• Support Head Chef with prep, service, and maintaining standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and fully prepped at all times.
• Follow food safety and allergen procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Front of House to deliver a great guest experience.
