Job summary

The Real Greek in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to lead grilling and prep in a fast-paced kitchen. You will work under the Head Chef to ensure safe, smooth daily operations and consistently high standards.

The ideal candidate has grill/prep/chef de partie experience, stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and can adapt to rotational duties. Progression and competitive pay are on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous grill, prep, or chef de partie experience preferred.
• Kitchen experience essential.
• Calm and able to work under pressure.
• Able to communicate clearly and promptly.
• Flexible with tasks and working hours.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day kitchen management and daily admin tasks.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef and communicate with Restaurant Manager.
• Be in charge of kitchen and daily orders when Senior Chef not present.
• Manage stock levels and minimise wastage.
• Report equipment issues as needed.
• Ensure quality, presentation and hygiene standards.
