Job summary

The Ivy Collection is seeking a Grill Chef to join our culinary team in Harrogate. You will cook a variety of steaks, chicken, burgers and seasonal meats, ensuring each dish meets our high standards and is prepared to guest temperatures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Grill Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Knowledge of different steak temperatures and resting times.
• Knowledge of different meats and their characteristics.
• Experience using grill equipment including ceramic briquette grills.
• Strong culinary skills and passion for cooking.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock assigned section with supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate with prep chefs to monitor inventory and daily par levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, following food safety guidelines.
• Follow instructions from Senior Management to ensure consistency and quality.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork.
